These Terms & Conditions govern participation in the online poll run by HELIX Events (hereinafter "HELIX"). They apply in addition to the Legal Notice and Privacy Policy. In case of conflict, mandatory statutory provisions take precedence.

1. Scope and Contracting Party

The contracting party is HELIX Events, Lennigstraße 8, 55118 Mainz, Germany (contact details, see Legal Notice). These Terms apply to all participants of the poll.

2. Eligibility

• Participation is voluntary and free of charge.
• Only individuals aged 16 or older may participate. Minors must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• A valid email address is required to prevent abuse.

3. How the Poll Works

• The poll consists of several categories. Multiple entries can be selected per category; free-text suggestions count towards the limit.
• There is exactly one (1) optional Superlike (⭐) for the entire poll.
• Your vote only becomes valid once you press the submit button.
• Normally, one participation is allowed per email address and IP address. HELIX may block or delete multiple entries. The admin bypass is for internal testing only.

4. Fair Use Rules

• Organized voting campaigns for self-interest (e.g. mass-promoting a specific person) are prohibited.
• Automated submissions, bots, scripts, disposable email addresses, or similar workarounds are forbidden.
• HELIX is entitled to remove suspicious votes based on comprehensible criteria.

5. Results and Programming Authority

The results serve as guidance for planning future events. There is no entitlement to the implementation of individual requests. HELIX reserves the right to determine lineups and dates independently of the poll.

6. Data Protection

Information on the processing of personal data (email, IP address, selections per category, optional free text and superlike) can be found in our Privacy Policy .

7. Availability and Liability

• The poll is provided within the scope of existing technical and operational capabilities. There is no entitlement to constant availability.
• HELIX is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise, liability for simple negligence is excluded unless material contractual obligations are breached. In that case, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

8. Rights to Content

All content, layouts, and marks of the poll are protected by copyright and trademark law. Any use beyond the scope necessary for participation requires prior consent from HELIX.

9. Term, Modification, and Termination

• HELIX may modify, suspend, or terminate the poll at any time for legitimate reasons (e.g. suspected manipulation, technical malfunctions).
• HELIX may amend these Terms with effect for the future. The version published at the time applies.

10. Dispute Resolution

The EU Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: https://www.ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. HELIX is not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings.

11. Final Provisions

• The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply.
• Should individual provisions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
• The place of jurisdiction is Mainz, to the extent permitted by law.
